Our ways of working at Quartzo and geer.bike follow Occam's Razor: between two choices, go for the simplest one.
Our frontal lobes love information, and modern era put virtually infinite of it within instant reach. The *perfect* answer could be just one AI prompt away, or we could run another survey, or we could find yet a better tool, or lib, or something.
What we learned: the brain will always hunger for more.
Instinct, on the other hand, is a systemic method for making decisions. It exists in frogs, coyotes, lobsters, pandas, even amoebae (taking the freedom to say they decide on things, yes). It doesn't need a stream of information. All it needs is patterns.
Sure, patterns can be mistook. And so can information.
I'm choosing keeping my brain lean and fit. Invite it to the conversation, but avoid its bottomless craving for monologues. And let the whole body set the bearing —hopefully towards fun, action, learning.
