“Don’t reinvent the wheel”, they said.
I say that’s exactly what you should do.
The wheel started as stone. Heavy, sluggish, brittle. But it worked. Now it’s metal alloys and pneumatic rubber — lighter, repairable, available in a thousand styles. It improved not through revolution, but through reinvention. Because instinct told people to do so.
Your design practice works the same way. I’ll show you how.

Why this matters
This is the new paradigm for the design industry: having an approach that AI cannot copy is now a crucial part of design strategy.
The old function-oriented design methods — the problem-solving, the ideation sessions, the double diamonds — are becoming a commodity. Clients are already looking at AI for that kind of work. And honestly? AI will keep getting better at that sort of logical work.
What it won’t get better at is instinct. The ability to make something feel right before anyone can explain why. To tell a story through form and material and gesture that no model will ever generate with its invisible silicon hands.
Every team has this instinct buried somewhere: in the way they talk, the references they reach for, the stories they share, their taste, in the decisions they make when nobody’s watching.
Neolitico is how you find it, name it, and build from it.
I’m offering a way to take what your team already knows and re-forge it into something sharper, stranger, harder to copy.

On any of these formats, the substance stays the same: I help you shift from function-first design toward a story-oriented method that belongs to you and only you.
We start from what’s already there. Your habits, your people, the references that shaped your taste.
I don’t arrive with a system to install. I facilitate a process — part structured exercise, part honest conversation — that surfaces what your team is capable of when it stops defaulting to logical choices. The output is a design language no algorithm can replicate, built on visual storytelling instinct rather than logic trees.
This isn’t theory. I’m still out here doing the work, serving clients, wrestling with the same market forces you deal with every day. What I bring is over a decade of multidisciplinary practice across digital & physical products and creative direction. I offer what I learned at my own agency Quartzo, with clients ranging from startups to Fortune 100 companies.

03. Book Leo as a speaker
Available for conferences, agency off-sites, and internal events where the goal is to gently shake how a team of designers thinks.
From Function to Feeling
is a talk on why the design industry’s devotion to craft and problem-solving is quietly making it invisible. An inspiring invitation to see what opens up when you lead design with visual instinct and narrative honesty.
04. Who is it for
You need a point of view that distinguishes you from every studio pitching identical case studies. You want to use AI without replacing your design legacy. You need reinvention, not revolution.
You’re changing direction and want more than new visuals. You want new methods, unfamiliar references, and a way of making that gives the pivot real substance at the craft level.
You’ve outgrown the tools that got you here. You want to stand out as a designer and soar above the slop, building a practice that no client can question the price.
05. Why work w/ Leo
The patterns you can’t see are the ones running the show. Coming from the outside, I see them clearly.
I’ve worked with clients from Samsung to independent studios, with work recognised by Apple, The New York Times, The New Yorker, It’s Nice That — the list goes on.
But credentials only go so far. What matters more is that I’m still in the game, running Quartzo, serving clients. Still navigating the same pressures, still refining my design practice.
My edge is that I’m a student of the game. All of my neurones are firing when I cross-pollinate Design, Strategy, and Analogue Methods.
I’m not here to impose a style. I’m here to help your team discover what’s already latent in their work; to give it structure, language, and momentum.
